I had a great birthday yesterday. Nicholas had 2 soccer games back to back but he stepped in a hole at practice and hurt his foot so when he came downstairs limping, I knew he wasn't going to be able to play so off I went to the stamp store instead. I got a few of the new Amuse rubber stamps that are out for the summer.
Anyway, I got a nice new camera that is very lightweight and it will zoom in real close. I also got a pretty bouquet of flowers from my aunt and uncle. That was a nice surprise!! I got a "funny" gift from my sister (who thinks she is being funny anyway) ... she gave me a "hot flash extinguisher" (see photo). I will save it for her when she needs it (I do need it myself so she can't have it till I'm done with it! LOL). Traci gave me some cute ceramic flip flops that hang on the wall. I think I will hang them going into my stamp room. I have the perfect little wall for them to fit on. The kids got me some new Copic markers and some new Nestabilities (Inverted Scalloped Circles) so I can't wait to put those to good use.
Charlie and Emily baked brownies while I was at the stamp store so that's what we had for dessert, with ice cream on top. Mmmmm good!!!
