"They" say (whoever "they" is) we can expect a much colder winter this year coming up because we have lots more acorns on the ground that fell from the trees. So we will see if "they" are right in their predictions! HA

We've had a bunch of acorns this year. We thought it was the age of the tree but Mike has heard of that old wives tale, too. We'll see.
Last year the oak trees around here produced very few acorns. This year our oak tree has a lot of them and they are bigger than they have been in the past. Wonder what that means.

Really? If that is true then we are in for a big one. I have never seen acorns on one of our trails and this year the whole thing was covered. Yippeeeee......
